E-0.1 Entrant Returns To The Natural Order
Returning body, mind, conduct and spirit to the order GOD intended.
Every Entrant must understand from the outset that Temple One, Temple Two,
Gate One's and Gate Two's exist to help restore the person toward the Natural Order. The human body and mind are not disposable possessions. Together they form the living instrument through which a person acts, serves, labours, worships, protects, creates and fulfils duty.
The first work of the Entrant is therefore restoration: proper rhythms of waking and sleeping; nourishment and fasting; movement and labour; rest and recovery; cleanliness; disciplined speech; ordered surroundings; restraint of appetite; and responsible stewardship of the body and mind.
In one instance, what we commonly call symptoms may sometimes be signals that something has become disordered, damaged, neglected or overburdened. Symptoms may also arise from disease, injury or other causes requiring proper medical care. Entrant formation therefore does not teach the suppression of warning signs, nor the hasty use of medications or procedures that may be unnecessary and could further damage the Divine instrument. It teaches careful discernment, timely medical evaluation where appropriate, and the examination and correction of whatever can rightly be corrected.
Yet the Natural Order is not merely physical. Sin is also a departure from right order.
The Entrant must therefore learn relinquishment: relinquishment of sinful conduct, destructive appetites, falsehood, resentment, excess, dependency and those habits which progressively degrade the person and impair the Divine instrument entrusted to their stewardship.
Where damage has arisen from such disorder, the answer cannot be merely to quiet its outward consequences while continuing the cause.
We do not seek merely to silence symptomatic irregularities.
We seek to relinquish what produces the disorder, restore what has been degraded, and return the whole person toward the right order.
The protocols may strengthen the body.
Discipline may restore function and command of the mind.
The Gates may establish the conditions in which restoration becomes operational.
But repentance, reconciliation, obedience and life within the Church address the disorder of sin and carry the return beyond bodily restoration toward GOD.
The Entrant returns to the Natural Order.
The Divine instrument is restored to proper stewardship.
The Temple begins the restoration.
The Gate makes it operational.
The Church carries the return into reconciliation with GOD.
Entrant formation is therefore not principally about feeling better.
It is the beginning of becoming rightly ordered again — physically, mentally, morally and spiritually — restoring what has been degraded and relinquishing what ought no longer to govern the person.
